 明け方寒くて寝れなかった。シャツを一枚重ね着して、なんとかしのぐ。なんだか、朝起きても、調子がすぐれない。何が何でも出社しないとマズい案件があったので、風邪薬のんで出かける。

 Ethernet Adapterの件。なんだかスッキリしないので、会社帰りに大須のTSUKUMOに寄って、ちゃんとした新品を購入してきた。Intel Ethernet Server Adapter I350-T2。交換して、動作確認の結果、特に問題なし。この入れ替えで最新式のNICになりましたとな。
 先のPRO/1000 PT DUALの出品者の評価は「非常に悪い」で送信。。大人げなかったか。安物買いの銭失いを実践してしまった。ひとまず動作はしているPRO/1000 PT DUALは、Windows7マシンに入れる事にします。。トホホ。

-02/24/2013(日)- 家庭内サーバの更新その12

 AMAZONから荷物が届いた。。開梱して、ちょっと固まる。これって、中古?ってな感じでキズや汚れが付いている。あ〜久々にやってしまったかも。とにかく、サーバに組んでみて動作確認。煙を吹く事もなく、普通に認識されて、動作している。次は、ちゃんとした所で買おう。ロープロファイル用の金具も付いてないし。
ちなみに、「激安!!迅速!!安心!!の【buyer-king】」から購入。
実物と、Intelのカタログの写真とで、ずいぶん電源周りに使用されている部品が異なる。実物はREV.A00と記載されたシールが貼ってあるので、ずいぶん古い基板だなぁ。

CBCラジオを聴いていたら、名古屋で19時17分から2分間程度、北西から北の空にISSが見られるとの事。双眼鏡探さなきゃ。
眠くなって夕寝?してたら、寝過ごして見れずじまい。あ〜。


-02/23/2013(土)- 家庭内サーバの更新その11

 朝、早起きしてボード交換するハズが、、ちょっと起きれなかったので、予約番組の録画をぶっちぎって、サーバをシャットダウン。ボードを交換します。同じメーカの同じフォームファクター(microATX)なので、コネクタのレイアウトもほぼ同位置。さくっと載せかえ。BIOSが超古い(F2)ので、最新BETA版のF10にUpdate。BIOSメニューからQ-Flashを使ってUSBメモリに置いたBIOSイメージから更新。サクッと完了。どうも、長期在庫品だった模様。ちゃんと動いているからOKだけど。
 OSを起動させるが、、おっと、時間設定が未来になっている!!!ちょうど9時間未来。時計がJSTになってた訳ね。でもって、お〜。番組予約のシステムが誤動作。。まいった〜。時間をおおざっぱに設定しなおして、正確な設定はNTPサーバへの同期待ちとする。
ntpq -pコマンドで確認する。すぐには同期しないか。。

 このボード(G1.SNIPER M3)には、Intel 82579Vなるネットワークアダプタが使用されているのだけど、、なぜかeth2として、認識されている。いっこしかネットワークアダプタないんだけど。
で、調べてみたら、CentOSでは、udevで物理的な関係と論理的な関係とを切り離して設定出来る様になっている模様。しらなんだ。/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth*の設定とは別なので注意が必要。で、/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rulesに対応関係が記載されているので、ここを修正。前の環境で2つあったのがeth0,1で確保されていて、今回のMBのがeth2になっていた。
 とりあえず、eth1として認識するように70-persistent-net.rulesを設定して、解決。

 Gatewayとして動作させるには、ネットワークアダプタが足りない。昨日のうちにIntel PRO/1000 PT DUALPORT SERVER ADAPTERなる、2ポート備えたネットワークアダプタを注文してある。2/24の朝に届く予定だ。

 でもって、i7 3770KのOC。付属のクーラーにて、4.2GHz設定で、ffmpegでトランスコードさせると、最高温度は85℃前後をうろうろ。今の設定では、fpsは38程度。OC前は29程度なので、だいぶ良くなった。にしても、ちょっと温度高いか。
VCOREを少し盛っているので(+0.05V)、それが原因か。これを+0.00Vに戻して、約80℃前後。これなら許容範囲か。

☆Gatewayサーバへの道:bandwidthのインストール

メモリ転送速度を計測するツール bandwidthをインストールしてみる。
Bandwidthからダウンロードする。

su
cd /usr/local/src
mkdir bandwidth
cd bandwidth
tar -zxvf ../bandwidth-0.32m.tar.gz
cd bandwidth-0.32m
make bandwidth64

え〜nasmが必要とな。
yum install nasm

make bandwidth64
でもって、実行結果。

 所々、loopsの数字が負数になっているのは、表示の問題だと思う。printfの表示が整数指定になっていないと見た。

 MacOSからAFPファイルサーバとしてアクセスできる出来る様に、netatalkをインストールする。
NETATALKから最新版をダウンロードする。今回は、Netatalk 3.0.2を選択。

 先日、i7 3770Kを購入して、B75M-D3Hのマザーボードで使っていたのだけど、まだちょっとトランスコードの処理速度が足りない。画質を妥協すればもう少し速くなるのだろうけど。サーバーなのに、オーバークロック(OC=定格外動作)させるのは、ナシだとは思うけど。。まぁ、何とかなるでしょう。
 でもって、Gigabyte B75M-D3Hでは、OCできない。ので、Z77を使用した同社のG1.SNIPER M3を閉店時間をまわっているソフマップに飛び込んで購入。ネット上の最安値ではなかったけど、まぁ、妥協。予約録画が混んでるので、マザーボード入れ替えは、明日に持ち越し。
 スカパーを契約しようか、どうしようか。ん〜。

 長い間使って来たE-Mobileの使用を停止。回線解約では無く。契約者数を減らしたくないんだろうなぁ、と想像しつつ、電話で手続きを行う。今の使い方だと、iPhoneのテザリングで充分でした。

 仕事帰りに、名古屋クワトロにて渋さ知らズオーケストラのライブを聴きにいく。先頃リリースされた「渋彩歌謡大全」のリリースツアー。もうはちゃめちゃで、面白かった! CDも面白いので、まだの方は是非聴いてみてくださいな。一週間にハマる友人。うんうん。小学校の音楽の時間に聴いた一週間はこんなでは、なかったハズ。YouTubeにもPVとしてあがっているので、ぜひ。
 クワトロでの渋さは、「爆音」で、ボーカルのシャウトで、クラクラきてました。文字通り、クラクラ。初めての体験。歳?
 全ての演目が終ったのが22時ちょっと前。。耳がキーンと言ってる中、明日への気合いを入れて帰宅。ありがとうございました!

 どうにも、ffmpegのトランスコードが遅すぎるので、i7-3770Kを購入してしまった。今月、2個目である。99で他店対抗特価、とかで¥28,830でした。少しお得だった。
 で、Gatewayサーバを止めて交換。GA-B75M-D3Hでは、さすがにオーバクロックは出来ないので、定格で運用。試しに1440x1080なMPEG2TSをMP4に変換してみると、等速ぐらいにはなっているので、良しとする。fps=29といった所。

 今日のお昼は、ハンバーグを手作り。うん、イイ感じにできた!

 今使わせて頂いているDynamic DNSのサービスでは、メイル配送に必要なMXレコードは出して頂いてないため、メイルは届かないけど。。ローカルサーバのメイルを処理するために、postfixとbind及びDHCPサーバを設定しておく。
が、力つきて、bindとDHCPDは後日インストール。

☆Gatewayサーバへの道:postfixの設定

 どうやらDNSで逆引き可能なサーバ名にしておかないと、ISPで受け取ってもらえない。
main.cfに、myhostname =をきちんと設定しておく。今回はDDNSで借りているhost名を設定。

☆Gatewayサーバへの道:Kernel 3.7.xのインストール

ELRepoで公開されているKernelをインストールする。公式Kernelは2.6シリーズで古さは否めない。

再起動して、インストール完了! ついでに /boot/grub/grub.conf の default= の部分を 書き換えておこう。一番頭にtitle CentOS (3.7.x-...)がある場合は、default=0 としておく。頭から0,1,2,3です。

 先代のhagi4の設定をコピーする。が、、細かい設定どうだったかなぁ。まぁ、思い出すか。

 録画用の3TB HDDをフォーマット。ついでにベンチマークをとってみる。GNOMEのGUIで用意されている「ディスク・ユーティリティ 2.30.1」を使ってみる。
3TBのSeagate HDDは、Read MIN 98.5MB/s、MAX 227.0MB/s、TYP 170.3MB/s、平均アクセス時間 14.8ms。
これに対して、160GBのINTEL SSDは、Read MIN 227.5MB/s、MAX 274.1MB/s、TYP 268.9MB/s、平均アクセス時間 0.1ms。
SSDはやっぱりSSDだった。平均アクセス時間が高速!。HDDだと、円盤の回転待ちがもろに効いてくるからね。

 一旦作業を中断して、駅伝を撮りに出かける。ん〜、頭痛。風邪薬のんでいく。

これだけだと、一般公開用のWebページとepgrecの予約ページとが分離できない!コレは困るので、VirtualHostの設定をしておく。

 こうして考えて見ると、HDDがやたらと多くなりそうな事に気がつく。今のケースだとちょっと入り切るだろうか?

ん〜、今のケースだと無理! 入りそうにない。安価なアルミ製ケースを物色。Lian LiのPC-A04がイイ感じ。午後から買い出しに行く。

 目星を付けておいたお店で在庫を確認してもらうと、、「売り切れ」とのこと。ここから苦悩の旅が始まる。10k円ぐらいで、出来の良いケースを探す。。探す。探す。スチール製のモノしか見つからない。。
 結局、手にしたのは、「FractalDesign社のDefine mini」なるケース。コレが重い!10kg重とな。アルミ製ならこの半分以下。もう少し必要なモノを購入して帰宅。

 ちゃんとしたケースに入れると、安心するなぁ。バラック状態で、上から物が落ちて来たら。。。おじゃんだし。この部屋は色々とアブナイので。。

 先日、大須のとあるPCパーツショップを覗いて見ると、PT3(地デジ、衛星放送チューナカード)が山積み。このカード、放送波を復調して、バスに出力するだけの機能しかない。DeMUXや暗号の復号とかの機能はナシ。本当にデータ化するしか能がない。
 このカードを使って放送波をHDDに保存する機能を、家庭内サーバに持たせると、HDDレコーダを廃却できるなぁと、思いついたのだ。現行のサーバは、2011/4に稼働開始。CPUはAtom D525(1.8GHz DualCore)を載せたM/Bとこの日記にあった。今回は、先日発売になった、Intel Celeron G1610(2.6GHz DualCore)を使ってみようと思うのです。で、部品を買い出し。

 OSは、やはりCentOSを使う事にして、最新のVer.6.3(64bit版)のDVDイメージをダウンロードして、準備。  バラック状態でOSインストールして、今日は就寝。
